We recently had SGS install solar and batteries. Their service was outstanding from start to finish. The quoting and replies to many questions was punctual and professional from their highly knowledgeable and skilled staff. What really set SGS apart, was their commitment to meeting their set timelines in demanding times. No excuses, they ensured they met the install timelines as per their quote. The on the ground electricians were very professional, respectful and completed the work efficiently, leaving the work area clean. We very much appreciated the lead electrician returning during out of hours to follow up on a concern we had the night of the install. After checking, it was clear the concern was not related to SGS works. We can not recommend highly enough, for SGS to carry out electrical or solar works. Oh, very importantly, they are very reasonable with their pricing. Finally, the product is working very well and performing as expected.

Our small, 33-year-old house had 17-year-0ld solar panels - the first at their time, which when new, together produced 750W. Efficiency gradually dropped to about 100W with age, so it seemed to be time to replace them with latest technology, high efficiency panels. We wrote a tender for latest panels and a supporting battery, without specifying equipment sizes, but describing our required system performance data in the tender. SGS then submitted the most credible quote, which met all our tender requirements.

Concurrently we had to restore and reseal our roof, which required a separate tender and different company. SGS then came and removed the old panels beforehand and installed the support risers for the new panel system, after which the roof was completely restored and sealed. Following the roof restoration SGS then installed the solar panels and battery, all on one day. 3 persons worked efficiently and quickly and kept us informed of progress.

Once all components had been installed and switched on, SGS populated the Smartphone app with which we can monitor the system, and we could see exactly how/when and how much power was produced, and where it went. They tested all components, applied guidance and warning stickers and then cleaned up the construction site meticulously. All wiring was done very neatly.

SGS completed all works and installations professionally and worked conscientiously, which gave us great confidence in the system, which should pay for itself in about 8 years. Having been in the building industry myself, and retired now, I can highly recommend SGS for this professional work and have awarded them 5 stars.
