We recently had SGS install solar and batteries. Their service was outstanding from start to finish. The quoting and replies to many questions was punctual and professional from their highly knowledgeable and skilled staff. What really set SGS apart, was their commitment to meeting their set timelines in demanding times. No excuses, they ensured they met the install timelines as per their quote. The on the ground electricians were very professional, respectful and completed the work efficiently, leaving the work area clean. We very much appreciated the lead electrician returning during out of hours to follow up on a concern we had the night of the install. After checking, it was clear the concern was not related to SGS works. We can not recommend highly enough, for SGS to carry out electrical or solar works. Oh, very importantly, they are very reasonable with their pricing. Finally, the product is working very well and performing as expected.

The team took the time to set everything up properly, including the app and system configuration, and made sure I understood how it all works before they left. Our small, 33-year-old house had 17-year-0ld solar panels - the first at their time, which when new, together produced 750W. Efficiency gradually dropped to about 100W with age, so it seemed to be time to replace them with latest technology, high efficiency panels. We wrote a tender for latest panels and a supporting battery, without specifying equipment sizes, but describing our required system performance data in the tender. SGS then submitted the most credible quote, which met all our tender requirements. Concurrently we had to restore and reseal our roof, which required a separate tender and different company. SGS then came and removed the old panels beforehand and installed the support risers for the new panel system, after which the roof was completely restored and sealed. Following the roof restoration SGS then installed the solar panels and battery, all on one day. 3 persons worked efficiently and quickly and kept us informed of progress. Once all components had been installed and switched on, SGS populated the Smartphone app with which we can monitor the system, and we could see exactly how/when and how much power was produced, and where it went. They tested all components, applied guidance and warning stickers and then cleaned up the construction site meticulously. All wiring was done very neatly. SGS completed all works and installations professionally and worked conscientiously, which gave us great confidence in the system, which should pay for itself in about 8 years. Having been in the building industry myself, and retired now, I can highly recommend SGS for this professional work and have awarded them 5 stars.

I got a quote for new solar and battery from SGS. The process went very smoothly and Glenn was a pleasure to talk to, always helpful in answering questions that I had, as well as keeping me up-to-date with when the batteries would be available. There is currently a large backlog of batteries, but luckily Glenn had put in a pre-order when I got the quote, so that I was able to get the installation happening in November. Note that the government rebate for batteries decreases after each calendar year. The removal of the old solar system and installation of the new panels and battery went smoothly, and the installers cleaned up after completion. I highly recommend SGS for solar and batteries.

First time purchase of solar system and battery. Found the advice and information from Glenn to be awesome, no pushy sales tactics just plain good advice. The team did a great job on the install and went above and beyond to explain options regarding the installation as they were going. No swearing of cursing I hear from some many other trades just knuckle down and get the job done. Thanks again and can't recommend the team enough.

Glen and his team are very professional. When asked for a quote they replied quickly and then book a site visit to verify my AC. I decided for SGS because their quote was competitive, they got the brand I wanted (Mitsubishi Heavy) and reviews were good. In summ, I recommend SGS. Finally, during installation they did everything what Glen and I agreed beforehand (I am a detailed person). During installation there was a glitch (some ceiling lamps disconnected). I contacted Glen next day they came and fixed. Smooth.

Absoutly Wonderful ! After hearing experiences from our friends and neighbours about other companies we were concerned about choosing the right company to install our sola. When I approached Glen he immediatly impressed me with his knowledge and attention to detail. His price was reasonable and everything he said he would do; he did and very promptly. I've been using Alex and his team for 4 years since I moved to the GC and have been very pleased with their quality of work. They have very neat finishing and no excess wires and coro that could affect the aesthetic of a new renovation. I have used SGS services on my home and business for anything electrical and Air con installations. I used SGS to install my solar system a while back, and they were excellent. Did a great job in a very friendly and trustworthy way. I knew that when I went for Ducted air con I would be using them, because I trusted them. Again they didn't disappoint, an extremely good job, by friendly and efficient workers. I think the most amazing thing was how they constantly cleaned as they went. If anything the house was cleaner after they left than when they arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they are exceptional.

Aircon and general electric things done quickly and efficiently.

Really Happy with these guys that installed a replacement AC unit in our house this week. My wife just having finshed six months of chemoand really feels the cold. They were scheduled to turn up at 1PM to do the install but got delayed at an early job but still turn up several house later and working in the dark to get the install done. Both tradies on the job missed lunch so they get the job completed. Second time I've used this company and have been happy both times.

Thanks to Glenn, Alex and the team at SGS for an efficient and painless install. Very happy with our new 13.2KW system. Just need to get the arborist in now to trim the huge fig tree in the back yard to prevent arvo shadow. Recommended SGS to another neighbour who stopped to admire our shiny new panels.

Just used SGS for a big solar installation. Glen was great from beginning to end. Designed a great system, provided all the advice I needed, supplied a very good quote and had the system installed within a week of getting the go ahead. One small issue was sorted over the phone and everything is pumping. His installation team were great to deal with and were just nice guys all round. Very highly recommended.

After doing some extensive research I decided to go with SGS electrical for the supply and installation of my new solar system. As a result of rain the installation wasn't able to be conducted on the day originally agreed to but Glenn kept me informed and as soon as the weather cleared they were onsite to do the work. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend SGS electrical.

THIS QUALITY OF SERVICE IS HARD TO COME BY. I have very little tolerance for substandard service, but this is a small family business of the HIGHEST QUALITY one could ask for. For our AC replacement, SGS: - promptly phoned in person to discuss our specific needs; - were the first business to provide a quote; - were the lowest price quoted; - completed installation on the day they said; - administration, installation and overall customer service was immaculately professional; - were the only business to mention the government rebate, and with only 2 weeks remaining before the rebate period expired, SGS had the AC installed with time to spare. DON'T CHANGE A THING, SGS!

Alex and his apprentice Bryce are the best electricians on the Gold Coast. Their prices are reasonable for the top quality work they do. They installed 3 aircon units in my warehouse and were efficient and reliable. Glenn who did the quotes and the invoicing was friendly and prompt. The team did an excellent job installing our panels. Even in light rain, the panels were installed without any hiccups, and the team also removed a redundant satellite dish in the process. When researching solar options, other solar providers openly admitted the price we were quoted by SGS Electrical was good value. I checked the panels with a thermal camera drone the next day, and confirmed there are no faulty cells after installation.

If you want a high quality install that is quick, neat and very professional these are your guys. Small touches like installing a waste water pipe and vaccuming were highly appreciated.

Intalled solar panels & ducted aircontioning system in spring of 2021.. Service was top rate from quoting process to installation and commissioning.
